Imagination Yoga- Inspiring Kids To Move

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Description: This fun interactive class teaches Imagination Yoga poses that can be integrated immediately into your classroom and/or home visits. We discuss poses for calming, energizing and transitional times. Physical, social, cognitive and language benefits of Imagination Yoga for the child and teacher are explored. Attendees also practice an “Adventure” that uses the poses in a themed story that supports movement and early literacy that kids LOVE!

At the end of this session participants will:
  • be introduced to the physical, social, cognitive and language benefits of integrating yoga into the classroom for the child and teacher.
  • learn the fundamentals of several yoga poses and techniques on integrating them into their classroom curriculum and/or home visit.
