Being the change you expect to see: Us Conscious Discipline® to build a positive school family climate for optimal learning.

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The School Family is a metaphor for creating positive school cultures based on current research about healthy families and optimal brain development. By practically applying concepts learned in these two areas of research, we can create a positive school culture that supports the social and emotional competence of both teachers and children, reduces behavioral problems and increases academic achievement.

At the end of this session, participants will:
  • Gain skills to meet the social and emotional needs of all your children, especially your most difficult.
  • Understand the Conscious Discipline® Brain State Model and why students misbehave.
