Child Development 101 for Transportation Staff

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

In this session, transportation staff will identify the stages of typical child development for children ages birth-5. Based on typical development, participants will explore behaviors they might commonly see on the school bus, and begin to create developmentally appropriate expectations for children in a school bus setting.

At the end of this session, participants will be able to:
  • Describe the stages of typical development for children ages birth to 5 years.
  • Develop appropriate expectations for children ages birth to 5 years on the school bus based on developmental milestones.
