Head Start of Yamhill County
Staff Coach
Yamhill County, Oregon
I have a long history of working with early childhood and have five years of experience as a supervisor. My supervision style is collaborative, strength-based, and direct. The training will provide practical tools for supervisors and an opportunity to practice and ask questions. My master's degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy, and have worked as a mental health therapist in both county mental health and private practice serving all ages. My experience has included partnering with parents and caregivers including foster parents, DHS, pediatricians, court system, school districts, Adult Mental Health, crisis work, Public Health workers, and other community partners. Most recently I have begun working for Head Start serving as a trainer for behavior management for all Head Start staff, providing consultation and coaching. I welcome questions regarding supervising staff, working with children and their families, and working in the Head Start setting.
